We spent Christmas morning at home, just the two of us (oh, and the kitties, of course). We had fun opening presents and making Christmas breakfast together, but sure miss having family and friends around for the festivities. It just isn't the same without family and friends. We hope everyone else had a wonderful holiday and that the new year treats you all well!

Oh, soo pretty! Was that Lily? Looks like you guys had a great Christmas, too. But I know what you mean - as nice as it is, it would be that much better to have family and friends close by to celebrate with. If it helps I was mentally sending lots of Christmas love your way!
We had a really nice christmas staying home this year too. I missed seeing all you guys, but it was sooo nice not having to deal with airports, crowded planes, shacking up with the relatives, overly-tired cranky kids, the ambush of relatives wanting all our time and attention, and of course trying to haul all the loot back home on the plane. But I would put up with all of that to spend time with my precious siblings, of course :)
